Job description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator who can MIG weld and Plate weld. The successful candidate will work with customers and our project management team to deliver optimal solutions for their requirements.

The successful welder will:

• Have a strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Have a proven track record as a fabricator with at least 3 years of plate welding experience
• Be able to work with all types of metal up to 30mm thick
• Be capable of reading engineering drawings
• Knowledge of MMA welding would be advantageous
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to finish products to a high standard
• Be available to work weekends when needed
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be confident, organized, and methodical
• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others
• Work well as part of a team
• Be able to problem solve and develop solutions
