Job Description:

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / remote options available)

Our client is a large multidisciplinary design consultancy operating across the UK. They focus on major energy and power frameworks, supporting their expanding teams. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support the Energy and Power networks team, which provides technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN on large energy infrastructure projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team, lead Revit modeling and CAD drawing production, and contribute at all project stages.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
• Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design info
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and internal teams for multidisciplinary delivery
• Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems for design stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant, and construction
• Manage drafting aspects of diverse projects, fostering collaboration

Experience / skills and education required:

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
• Proven experience in Building Structures as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector
• Experience in designing energy and power-related projects such as substations, switching stations, hubs, or heavy industrial projects
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software
• Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 is advantageous; training will be provided
