Structural Revit Technician
£32,000 - £40,000 plus benefits.
Stockport, Manchester.

An independent Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is looking for a Structural Revit Technician with at least 4 years' experience to join their brand new office base in Stockport, Manchester.

The company is involved in a diverse range of engineering projects across all market sectors and covering all aspects of civil and structural engineering design, appraisals, alteration of existing buildings, and structural investigations.

They're a close-knit team of over 10 staff who usually work from the office on projects right across the UK as far south as Devon. The right person will be expected to have at least some experience in a consultancy environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least some experience using Revit on live projects and will take an active role in project delivery.

The ideal Structural Revit Technician will:

  1. Hold a minimum of an ONC in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering course.
  2. 3+ years Revit experience within the UK structures environment and at least 4 years working for a civil and structural engineering company/companies.
  3. Experience of modelling existing masonry structures and new RC Concrete/steel framed buildings.
  4. Able to use and create project templates and filters to in-house standards.
  5. Able to produce 3D BIM models to a Level 2 Standard, all to in-house BIM specifications.
  6. Good engineering knowledge and understanding of key structural engineering principles.
  7. Experience of modelling buildings and refurbishment of buildings.

Remuneration packages will be salaried between £32,000 and £40,000 depending on experience (but more experienced and therefore expensive candidates will still be considered) and will also include 25 days annual leave plus employer contributory pension.
