A respected consultancy in Northern Ireland is seeking a Structural Revit Technician to support their structural design team. You will produce Revit models, coordinate with architects, and ensure compliance with UK standards. Qualifications

Overview

Structural Revit Technician | Belfast

Vickerstock are proud to be working with a highly respected local consultancy, recognised for delivering landmark building and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland. With a strong portfolio spanning education, healthcare, commercial and civic developments, this practice is expanding its structural team and now seeks a Structural Revit Technician with experience in building structures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, design-focused practice where you will work closely with Chartered Structural Engineers on complex and technically challenging building projects.

Your New Role as Structural Revit Technician

You will take a key role in supporting the structural design team through accurate model production and detailed technical drawings across multi-storey and complex building developments.

  • Producing high-quality structural Revit models and construction drawings for building projects
  • Developing GA drawings, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinating models with architects and M&E consultants to ensure full integration
  • Assisting with BIM Level 2 standards and contributing to internal quality processes
  • Supporting engineers through design stages from concept to construction
What You Will Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Revit Technician within building structures (e.g. steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit Structures and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of UK building standards, detailing practices and coordination workflows
  • Ability to interpret structural engineering sketches and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Desirable
  • Experience across education, commercial or healthcare building sectors
  • Familiarity with BIM 360, Navisworks or clash detection workflows
