Parkhill is looking to add a Structural Professional Engineer to the team. In this role you will be working alongside our MEP/S team creating innovative designs to improve our communities. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
  • Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Interface with clients when appropriate alongside project managers.
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
  • Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
  • Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
  • Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license number.
  • Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.
  • The ability to use Revit/BIM is preferred.
