Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking an experienced Structural Lead to join our project team in Blyth, United Kingdom. You will lead structural activities for large data centre projects, manage budgets, schedules and client interfaces, and drive health, safety and quality performance.

The role requires a degree in construction or engineering, strong leadership, and excellent organisation and communication skills, with a proven track record in CSA elements within contracting environments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant construction or engineering subject.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel is required.
  • Ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

  • Directing set up for the structural activities, ensuring best practice meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.
  • Continuous engagement with key project stakeholders such as Client and Design Teams to ensure Project performance.
  • Overseeing ongoing client satisfaction with the project, especially in terms of cost, scope, and timescales.
  • Proactively monitoring the project's health and safety processes as well as the team's culture and behaviours.
  • Monitor and ensure the Quality targets are achieved and exceeded on the project.

We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Lead to join our project team in Blyth, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, track and develop plans for project costs, budgets, project labour, commissioning procedures and project performance.
  • Directing set up for the structural activities, ensuring best practice meeting and reporting documentation and schedules are implemented from the outset.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role, delivering CSA elements of a project within a contracting environment is essential.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
  • The ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • A flair for multitasking, looking at the bigger picture, and providing excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, diligent, and forward-thinking approach.
  • First-class leadership skills - you should be able to delegate, prioritize workloads, run productive meetings and be a role model for others.
