We are seeking a talented Structural Integrity Engineer to join the Plant Structural Integrity department at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. You will primarily conduct structural integrity assessments, including primary strength, fatigue, fatigue crack growth, and fracture assessments, following ASME III and R6 defect tolerance codes. Your role will support various programmes, from in-service support to new build and future projects. You will develop and maintain Finite Element Analysis models to evaluate stresses and justify component integrity.

Essential: Degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics or equivalent experience; ability to manage multiple projects; interest and expertise in structural integrity analysis.
Desirable: Knowledge of failure mechanisms and assessment methods; experience with finite element software (Abaqus, ANSYS, HyperMesh); safety case support experience; professional membership or working toward chartership.
