Structural Engineer - Structural Steelwork

Location: South England - remote working conditions

Sector: Structural Steel / Design & Build

Salary: Up to £58,000 plus package

We're looking for a qualified Structural Engineer to join a highly regarded design and build contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, technical structural steel and precast projects across the UK.

You'll be part of an experienced and forward-thinking engineering team that supports a wide range of construction sectors including commercial buildings, rail infrastructure, nuclear, car parks, and more.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engineering solutions and design support across major structural steel projects
• Providing expertise in structural steelwork, connection design, and temporary works
• Collaborating with contractors, architects, and consultants from concept through to completion

What We're Looking For

• Degree-qualified Structural Engineer (ideally Chartered or working toward chartership)
• Proven background in structural steel design
• Experience working on building structures, bridges, rail, or similar technical sectors
• Connection design is essential
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
