American Society of Civil Engineers in Oxford is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a collaborative, hybrid team. You will contribute to design and delivery of building structures, progressing toward Chartership while working on a mix of new build and refurbishment projects.

You will interact with senior engineers, produce calculations and reports, and help ensure safe, sustainable outcomes with a focus on client relationships and technical excellence.

Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Working towards Chartership with the IStructE or ICE.
Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects.
Experience designing structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
Solid understanding of UK design standards and regulations.
Familiar with BIM processes and Revit.
Ability to produce structural calculations and technical reports.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to develop career within Oxford office.

Responsibilities

Design practical and cost effective structural solutions for a variety of projects.
Deliver coordinated designs with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake structural surveys and prepare technical reports.
Produce calculations and technical information for building structures projects.
Support project delivery from concept through to construction.

A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its expanding team in Oxford. The successful Structural Engineer will work on a varied portfolio of building structures projects, contributing to the design and delivery of schemes across multiple sectors from concept through to completion. Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary colleagues in Oxford, this opportunity will suit a Structural Engineer who enjoys technical delivery, client interaction and developing innovative structural solutions. With exposure to both new build and refurbishment building structures projects, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience whilst progressing towards Chartership. Due to the nature of several building structures projects, candidates will need to hold UK SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance.

We Are Looking For A Structural Engineer Who:
