Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Leeds is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer aiming for Chartered status within the next few years. You will contribute to the design and delivery of building structures, including steel and reinforced concrete, across multiple sectors.

You will produce technical calculations and reports, collaborate with colleagues and clients, and support safe, buildable design solutions while engaging in design reviews and team discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience in building structures using steel and concrete.
• Strong knowledge of UK design codes and standards.
• Progress towards Chartered status within the next couple of years.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of building structures across sectors.
• Undertake structural design in steel and reinforced concrete, including multi-storey frames and portal frames.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues, external consultants, and clients for coordinated delivery.
