2 – What You’ll Do

About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will coordinate, review, and ensure the quality of civil and structural deliverables, working closely with design partners and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and coordinating acceptance of deliverables within your scope.
• Producing building-specific documents such as handover reports or hypothesis notes.
• Raising and following up on technical open points as the first contact for the L3 civil designer.
• Supporting the civil building lead and contract engineering lead in design coordination.
• Resolving building-specific technical issues and tracking their progress.
• Assisting in preparing progress reports and highlighting technical risks to the project manager.
• Reviewing technical proposals for variations.

4 – Who You Are

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in a civil engineering design office, focusing on reinforced concrete structures, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, especially those related to civil and structural engineering
• Understanding of reinforced concrete design principles
• Experience in the nuclear sector is a strong asset
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations relevant to civil engineering
