Are you a Structural Engineer looking to expand your skills and experience within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy?

Do you want to work on a diverse range of projects, as part of a collaborative, dynamic and supportive team?

Pick Everards thriving Structural Engineering team in are expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new venturesNottingham and get to undertake site survey work.

There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on the design and management of a diverse range of projects including local government, commercial, custodial, residential and central government. Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects Pick Everard

You Can Expect To Become Involved In

A wide range of projects across sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, defence and infrastructure.

Your core duties will include:

• Ensuring high quality technical delivery of projects
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Assisting on Surveys and supporting junior staff members
• Act as point of contact for client/contractor queries.
• Minimise Health and safety risks in all aspects of structural discipline and input to the wider project health and safety assessment.
  
  

About You

• A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, MSc or MEng preferred
• Good verbal communication able to discuss work, and communicate effectively to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of construction
• Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (AutoCAD and Revit)
  
  

It Would Be Nice For You To Have

• The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
• Approaching Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
• Experience visiting sites
• The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge
