Linum Consult’s client is an engineering consultancy specialising in large warehouses, industrial buildings, and data centre construction projects. They are currently seeking a French-speaking Structural Engineer, to be based in London.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing reports, designs and structural drawings
• Calculating loads and stresses
• Selecting suitable construction materials; bearing in mind cost and quality
• Providing technical advice to CAD designers/draftsmen
• Liaising with Architects to achieve constructability
• Providing regular reports on progress to the Project Manager

PROFILE

• 1-2 years of post-graduation experience working for consultancies
• Previous history of working on large warehouses, data centres or industrial building construction projects is preferable
• Technical knowledge of CAD software and demonstrable knowledge of British codes of construction
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written French, as well as English
