Our client’s thriving Structural Engineering team in Knaresborough is expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures and undertake site survey work.

The role involves a wide, varied workload focusing on the design and management of projects including health, education, commercial, custodial, and residential sectors.

You will take responsibility for project delivery, ensuring high quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Opportunities for chartered status are available, with mentors for both IStructE and ICE, plus access to workshops and seminars for the chartership process.

About You

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional designs and driven to succeed on diverse projects.

Requirements:

• Experience in structural design in steel, concrete, timber, & masonry
• Structural surveying experience
• Good verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and team members, and coaching staff
• Proficiency with relevant software (Tekla, Tedds, SCIA, AutoCAD)
• Ability to carry out site inspections

Preferred:

• Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
• Understanding of contracts and appointment forms
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Broad technical appreciation
