Our Structures Design Teams are looking for highly motivated and technically strong Structural or Bridge Engineers to be involved in the delivery of challenging bridge design and maintenance schemes. We have a great team environment, and we support and develop our engineers, so they are continuously developing their skills.

Working in the Structures Design Teams, you will be responsible for project management and design of a wide variety of bridge replacement, strengthening and maintenance schemes, as well as the inspection and assessment of current bridges and other highway structures. Whilst taking a leading role of the scheme assigned, you will be working closely with a Senior member of the team to enable you to learn and expand your experience.

Our recent projects include design of a new integral two span continuous steel composite deck bridge as part of a bypass route (£26M scheme), a £5.5M bridge replacement scheme in New Forest, a £25M refurbishment scheme of 4 major structures spanning over River Test and Network Rail tracks, several small bridges and footbridges deck strengthening and replacement (varying from 100k to £1M schemes). Future work will include among others, multi-million railway footbridge replacement and strengthening of a 27 span concrete bridge, as well as continuing small replacement/strengthening schemes. In addition, we provide technical support to external clients, developers, contractors, and other local authorities.

Within your application please demonstrate how you meet the essential qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience as specified in the below job description and person specification document linked below.
