An exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2-3 years' UK consultancy experience to join our client's growing team on the outskirts of Brighton.
This is an excellent role for an ambitious engineer looking to build on their existing knowledge while working on a varied portfolio of structural projects, which range across the residential, commercial and healthcare sectors to include refurbishment experience.
Working alongside experienced engineers, the successful candidate will be involved in the design and analysis of building structures from concept through to completion. The role offers exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle, including preparing structural calculations, technical drawings and reports, carrying out site inspections, and collaborating with architects, contractors and fellow consultants to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Applicants should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering together with two to three years' structural design experience gained within a UK consultancy. A good understanding of current UK building regulations and design standards is essential, along with experience designing building structures using industry-standard engineering software. Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients and project teams are equally important.
