Job description

Structural Engineer (Grad+2)

Guildford

£34k-£38k plus benefits

Our client is exceptionally busy and they need a talented engineer to join their building structures team in Guildford to enhance their project delivery.

Your workload will include design for a varied range of schemes, and you will be working on surveys, fee proposals, report writing and insurance claims.

As a structural engineer you can bring to the table excellent practical knowledge of engineering and possess strong design skills.

About you:

  • Degree qualified engineer, either civil or structural
  • At least 2 years' relevant experience
  • Design experience in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry
  • Fully conversant with British Standards and EuroCodes
  • Knowledge of relevant software, such as Tekla, AutoCAD and SCIA
  • Experience producing fee proposals and reports
  • Experience checking designs
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Knowledge of Tekla, Tedds and Finite elements an advantage, but training available
