A little more about your role…

Working on various projects in Energy, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial, and Hospitality sectors.

1. Responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of structural engineering design parts, working with and reporting to the Senior Engineer.
2. Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to meet client technical requirements.
3. Contribute to client liaison regarding structural engineering issues and have design responsibility for parts of the structural works.
4. Advise the Senior Structural Engineer on contract administration in a technical capacity.
5. Support and mentor junior staff, including Assistant and Graduate Engineers or equivalent technicians.
6. Review technical aspects of structural design, specifications, calculations, and packages according to WSP protocols.
7. Possess knowledge of REVIT Structure to coordinate structural designs within WSP models.
8. Develop drawing skills for concept, feasibility, and final design illustrations.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

1. Proficiency in REVIT Structure for integration with structural software packages.
2. Progress towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualifications.
3. Experience with alternative materials and construction methods.
4. Ability to solve structural problems using analysis methods, including hand calculations and software.
5. Ability to prepare specifications and reports.
6. Awareness of environmental, sustainability, and legislative considerations.
7. Experience with construction techniques, site visits, and project management.
8. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and design concepts.
9. Experience mentoring graduate engineers or technicians.
10. Organize design reviews and assess hazards and risks in construction.
11. Manage project resources and communicate scope changes effectively.
