Responsibilities

• Undertaking design work, inspections, and construction site support on major infrastructure projects.
• Conducting concept and feasibility studies for multi-discipline design projects.
• Performing analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA, and TEDDS, as well as producing hand calculations.
• Preparing calculations, CDM activities, basis of design, and material specifications.
• Supporting senior structural engineers.

Who you are

• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
• A degree qualified (BEng or MEng) structural engineer.
• Proven ability in preparing design and calculation documentation.
• Experience in designing structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
• Knowledge and experience with BIM packages.
