Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a permanent Structural Engineer (Civil) in Witney to design practical and economical structural solutions aligned with architectural concepts, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and producing surveys and technical reports.

You will support bid proposals, build client relationships, and manage schemes from concept through to completion with a focus on quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Working towards chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
• Experience across sectors including new builds and refurbishments
• Familiarity with structural materials: steel, concrete, timber, masonry
• Proficiency with BIM and 3D design tools (Revit)
• Strong understanding of structural standards and regulations
• Analytical, proactive, and clear communication

• Familiarity with structural materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
• Confidence working with BIM and 3D design tools (e.g., Revit)
• Strong understanding of structural standards and regulations
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical ability
• Ability to produce structural calculations and sketches, and provide clear mark-ups for Technician draughting
• Strong written English skills for coherent, well-structured survey reports
