Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Kent is seeking an ambitious Structural Engineer to join their busy team on the Sevenoaks outskirts. The role covers residential, commercial and industrial developments with clear progression toward chartership.

You will work with Chartered Engineers, produce structural calculations, and assist with beams, columns, foundations and slabs while supporting design through to construction, including site inspections and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and experience with structural design software.
• Experience using Tekla Tedds and IDEA StatiCa.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural calculations and assist with design of beams, columns, foundations, slabs and other structural elements using recognised engineering software and current design standards.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Carry out site inspections and structural assessments of existing buildings.
• Coordinate design information with architects, contractors and consultants to ensure work is delivered accurately and to programme.
