Salary: £34,000 to £43,000

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our client's team at their Altrincham office. The role involves designing a variety of projects, from small domestic extensions to large multi-storey developments. You will work with colleagues locally and nationally, develop your design skills, and be supported to obtain accreditation from the Institute of Structural Engineers.

The projects involve costs up to £12m, using the latest design software. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful, high-value projects with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

• Use advanced design software to create and manage structural designs.
• Coordinate with clients and team members on design and technical solutions.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for various structures and materials.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Contribute to achieving revenue targets from current and new clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters preferred).
• At least 2 years of professional UK experience in structural engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is advantageous.
• Experience in cost estimation and project management.
• Experience with concrete structures is highly desirable.
