About the job Structural Engineer - 2-5 years

A fantastic opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a busy, expanding Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in North Worcester. This role is ideally suited to someone with approximately 2 - 5 years of experience in the structural design of buildings andwill provide the perfect foundation from which you can further build and excel in your career as an experiencedStructural Engineer.

With my Client working across a diverse group of sectors you can expect to be involved in a multitude of projects producingstructural design solutions from inception to completion, feasibility study stage to site and construction phase. Typically you can expect to be producing structuralcalculations and technical design solutions for commercial, industrial, logistical, mixed use developments, manufacturing and engineering schemes and additional sectorsand you will be required to draw upon yourtechnical knowledge of all common build materials and structuresto do so.

With a strong technical mind and a good understanding of the basic principals of structural design you will be encouraged and expected to be involved in all stages of the design process from inception to completion, working under the supervision of a Senior or PrincipalStructural Engineer. Your past experience will enable you to produce accurate structural calculations (ideally in steel, concrete, timber or masonry), attend site if required, complete relevant reports as necessary and become part of a hard working and successful team of Designers.

You will be joining a close working team of skilled Engineering Professionals who collaborate and work closely together on projects. Therefore good communication skills, both verbal and written, will be essential and c onfidence in communication at all levels within the team.
