About the job: Structural Engineer - 2-5 years

A fantastic opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a busy, expanding Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in North Worcester. This role is ideally suited to someone with approximately 2 - 5 years of experience in the structural design of buildings and will provide the perfect foundation from which you can further build and excel in your career as an experienced Structural Engineer.

With our client working across diverse sectors, you can expect to be involved in a multitude of projects producing structural design solutions from inception to completion, from feasibility studies to site and construction phases. You will be producing structural calculations and technical design solutions for commercial, industrial, logistical, mixed-use developments, manufacturing, and engineering schemes, among others, drawing upon your technical knowledge of common building materials and structures.

With a strong technical mind and a good understanding of the basic principles of structural design, you will be involved in all stages of the design process under the supervision of a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer. Your experience will enable you to produce accurate structural calculations (ideally in steel, concrete, timber, or masonry), attend site visits if required, complete relevant reports, and be an active part of a hardworking and successful team of designers.

You will join a close-knit team of skilled engineering professionals who collaborate closely on projects. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with confidence in communicating at all levels within the team.
