Structural Engineer - Specialist Building Systems

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview:

• Undertake structural analysis and design for steel and lightweight construction systems.
• Produce and review detailed engineering drawings and calculations using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Support pre-construction and delivery teams with technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in value engineering exercises and propose design improvements where possible.

Key Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer in steel or lightweight construction.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes, and building regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
