Job Description

Senior Design Engineer - Temporary Works Engineering Department. Permanent position based in Manchester with a salary of 45,000 - 60,000 + Benefits package.

This temporary works specialist company, located on the outskirts of Manchester, is seeking to employ a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The projects are complex and include both above and below ground support schemes.

As well as leading the project design, you will manage junior team members and support the Associates. The projects involve facade retention, needling and propping, larger basement propping, plan bracing, and crash decks.

The ideal engineer will have a strong understanding of these project types, confidence in applying engineering judgment, and the ability to influence design and delivery. A thorough understanding or experience with embedded retaining wall design and proficiency in various design software is required.
