Structural Engineer

Are you a talented and motivated Structural Engineer with UK experience? Do you thrive on tackling complex challenges and guiding teams to success?

Salter Grange are partnered with a specialist consultancy who are expanding and so are seeking passionate professionals to join their dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their projects and contributing to their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analysis and design calculations, pushing the boundaries of structural engineering
  2. Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  3. Ensure the highest standards by checking and validating the work of your peers
  4. Implement business management systems and assist in preparing competitive fee bids
  5. Take charge of projects from inception to completion, including invoicing and client interactions
  6. Play a key role in the training and appraisal of technical staff, nurturing the next generation of engineers
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  2. Proven experience in UK structural design and analysis
  3. Proficiency in software tools such as Tekla Structural Designer and SCIA Engineer
  4. Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  5. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  6. Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential
