Structural Engineer

Location: Newton Le Willows

Russell Taylor are looking for a contract structural engineer to work for an engineering consultancy, located in Merseyside. This is a long-term contract working on structural steel projects within the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidate:

  1. Degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  3. Proficient in structural design software (ideally Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis).
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
  5. Excellent project management skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
