A central Leeds-based engineering consultancy is looking to strengthen their Building Structures team with a permanent appointment of a structural design engineer.

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects across the commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors throughout the UK.

Responsibilities include:

1. Structural assessment and inspection of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
2. Preparation of technical reports, including dilapidation reports and structural surveys.
3. Analysis and design using software such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS.
4. Maintaining quality and consistency of technical outputs.
5. Collaborating with the design team to deliver coordinated solutions.
6. Working on refurbishment and extension projects.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with consultancy experience in a similar role on UK projects. Experience with structural analysis software is advantageous.
