Job summary

Gattaca is seeking a Wind Turbine Loads Engineer in the UK to help bridge turbine performance and foundation design. You will use load analysis and aeroelastic modelling to advance projects from concept through detailed design, contributing to a cleaner energy future.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in offshore wind, structural, marine, or related engineering.
  • Experience with Bladed or equivalent aeroelastic modelling software.
  • Knowledge of offshore wind foundations and structural analysis.
  • Familiarity with IEC and DNV standards.
  • A technically curious engineer who enjoys solving complex problems.

Help engineer the foundations of the world's next generation of offshore wind farms.

We're looking for a Wind Turbine Loads Engineer to join an ambitious offshore renewable energy team delivering complex, high-impact projects at the forefront of the energy transition.

This is a chance to work on the critical link between turbine performance and foundation design, using advanced load analysis and aeroelastic modelling to solve real-world engineering challenges. You'll contribute to projects from early-stage concepts through to detailed design, helping shape the infrastructure that will power a cleaner future.

You'll be involved in:

  • Wind turbine load assessments and Integrated Load Analysis (ILA)
  • Aeroelastic and dynamic simulation modelling
  • Offshore foundation design support and optimisation
  • Development of innovative engineering methods and tools
