We have several opportunities for Structural Engineers to support a large infrastructure programme based in the West of Scotland.

This key role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team supporting nuclear facilities and delivering services across client sites.

What We Need

• Experience in the design assessment of steelwork structures to withstand dynamic loads including earthquake motions, blast, wind, rain, and snow loading.
• Experience working on steelwork marine structures and jetties.
• Experience producing robust technical justification for structural design modifications in high hazard industries.
• Ability to apply theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, operate, maintain, decommission, and recycle engineering processes, systems, services, and products in a nuclear/high-risk environment.
• Use a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge to apply existing and emerging technologies.

Security Requirements

You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Location

This position is hybrid, with the option to be onsite in Helensburgh or work remotely, including occasional site visits.

There is an opportunity for this role to be conducted fully remotely with occasional visits to the site.
