RGB Recruitment Ltd in Exeter is seeking a confident Structural Engineer working towards chartered status to join a respected structural engineering consultancy. You will manage projects, liaise with clients and contribute to the design of buildings using traditional and eco-friendly materials, including straw bale.

• Experience in producing drawings, design calculations, structural reports, surveys and site visits.

Mansioni

• Producing drawings, design calculations, structural reports, surveys and undertaking site visits with occasional visits to the South East.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and architects maintaining and developing relationships.
• Working with all traditional materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry as well as eco materials such as straw bale.
• Helping in the development of the team, mentoring junior engineers and technicians while yourself working towards chartered status.
• Attending CPD and industry networking events.

The business…

A highly regarded structural engineering consultancy, specialising in the design of building structures is looking for a Structural Engineer due to a sustained increase in work.

The practice has a talented team based in their Exeter office. They have relationships with prestigious clients and as such tend to punch well above their weight. The handle projects from a variety of sectors including; basement extensions, high end “Grand Design” properties, major industrial work, local sports clubs, spas and leisure facilities. As well as more traditional buildings they also design innovative eco structures and have recently completed the Country’s largest straw bale building.

The Role…

We are looking for a Structural Engineer who is comfortable running their own projects, someone who is happy to liaise with clients and has a real interest in the design of buildings.

• Producing drawings, design calculations, structural reports, surveys and undertaking site visits with occasional visits to the South East
• Liaising with clients, contractors and architects maintaining and developing relationships
• Working with all traditional materials including; steel, concrete, timber and masonry as well as eco materials such as straw bale
• Helping in the development of the team, mentoring junior engineers and technicians while yourself working towards chartered status
• Attending CPD and industry networking events
