Job description

Attention all Structural Engineers!

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy in a permanent staff position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client's Oxford office.

This is a great opportunity to work on a range of projects including commercial, education, historic, residential, sports and healthcare.

-Competitive salary ranging from 50,000- 60,000 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Design safe, durable structures that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations.

-Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards.

-Prepare reports, drawings, and calculations related to loads, pressures, and stresses.

-Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice throughout the project.

-Handle planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations.

What we are looking for:

-Must have extensive experience (5-10 years) as a Structural Engineer.

-Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering (Master's preferred).

-Strong communications skills for client facing environments.

-Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.

-Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g. MIDAS, SAP2000, STAAD, Robot, etc.).

-Proven experience in structural design on a range of projects.
