Job description

Intermediate Structural Engineer - required for our client, a multi-disciplinary UK-wide Consultancy that is experiencing growth. The role is based from their offices in Cambridge or Oakham with hybrid working options.

The Structural Engineer will support local and national engineering teams on various projects, including structural surveys, report preparation, calculations, design, and drawing of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role also involves providing advice to the insurance sector and assisting with regional frameworks.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Preferably 2+ years post-graduate experience within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or a similar discipline, accredited by IstructE or ICE
  • Knowledge of legal requirements including CDM2015, Part wall, Listed buildings
  • Experience with consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning
  • Experience working to deadlines and within budgets
  • Keen to progress quickly and gain chartership with IstructE or ICE
  • UK Driving Licence
