Requirements

Due to continuous growth and the need to support our projects, we are looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in:

• Structural steel design for a dynamic marine environment
• Seafastening design, including design and analysis of grillages, winch bases, lay spreads, and work platforms to DNV standards
• Analysis of allowable stress of structures to AISC ASD 9th edition or similar standards
• Lifting equipment design/checks according to DNV codes
• Installation aid design and analysis
• Ship structure knowledge (an advantage)
• Understanding of steel fabrication methods and standards, including welding
• Performing hand (spreadsheet) calculations as well as using tools such as FEA and beam/column modulators
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD skills
• Experience with software such as:
• ANSYS FEA
• MS Excel and Word
