The Senior Design Technician will lead quality assurance, manufacturing coordination, and process refinement. They ensure engineering designs are optimised for production and work closely with engineers to validate designs.
- Develop detailed Tekla Structures models for structural elements.
- Conduct final QA checks on drawings and models before release to manufacturing.
- Oversee fabrication feasibility, ensuring efficient production processes.
- Lead troubleshooting of technical issues between engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Develop and refine standardised workflows and templates.
- Assist in training T1 and T2 technicians, providing technical mentorship.
- Provide feedback to engineers and designers on design improvements for manufacturability.
