Job description

The Senior Design Technician will lead quality assurance, manufacturing coordination, and process refinement.

They ensure engineering designs are optimised for production and work closely with engineers to validate designs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop detailed Tekla Structures models for structural elements.
  2. Conduct final QA checks on drawings and models before release to manufacturing.
  3. Oversee fabrication feasibility, ensuring efficient production processes.
  4. Lead troubleshooting of technical issues between engineering and manufacturing teams.
  5. Develop and refine standardised workflows and templates.
  6. Assist in training T1 and T2 technicians, providing technical mentorship.
  7. Provide feedback to engineers and designers on design improvements for manufacturability.
