Job description

Job Title: Structural Designer

Location: Aberdeen Office

Working Hours: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs), 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri)

Access Talent Group are working with a leading global client in the energy industry, with over 5000 employees and operations in nearly 50 countries. Our client is paving the path towards net-zero by developing new sustainable energy solutions and services. They are looking for an experienced structural designer to join their experienced team.

In this role, you will work closely with some of the most talented and widely experienced engineers and designers in the industry on massive national and international projects. Despite the size of our client, you will be a key player and recognized for your contributions at every step of these projects. You will gain exposure to significant projects worldwide and face new and exciting challenges, ensuring that even the most seasoned designer will have something new to look forward to.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interfacing between designers and site staff
  2. Sign-off on formation levels
  3. Supervising concrete pours
Key Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years experience in Oil & Gas or Energy projects
  2. Experience on offshore projects is essential
  3. Must have experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks
  4. Able to manage your own workload
  5. Experience on drilling projects would be an advantage

For this position, our client will consider permanent staff or contract, with this position being designated outside IR35, providing opportunities for everyone. You will join an industry leader and become part of an energetic and close-knit team, with a diverse and inclusive office.
