Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Structural Cardiology at Hammersmith Hospital for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time post starting January 2027. The role offers advanced experience in a tertiary cardiology service, including TAVI and other percutaneous structural heart therapies, with opportunities for clinical research.

Ideal candidates are in final year of specialist training or post-CCT fellows seeking a career in structural cardiology.

Qualifications

• Trust Grade doctor (ST6 equivalent).
• Post CCT Fellow.
• Appropriate UK professional registration.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily ward rounds for TAVI inpatients and care for patients requiring structural heart therapies.
• Undertake interventional catheter laboratory work, outpatient clinics and ward referrals.
• Coordinate the structural waiting list with TAVI nurses and prepare structural MDT meetings.
• Collate and present morbidity and mortality data, contribute to NICOR data collection, and attend audit and clinical meetings.
