Job summary

Eden Brown is seeking a BIM Technician to support the delivery and coordination of detailed design and construction information in London. You will develop and manage 2D and 3D BIM models, produce construction drawings, and ensure models and documentation are accurate and coordinated to project requirements.

Key duties include using MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and conducting model reviews to meet BEPs and CDE standards.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Engineering, Design or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with 3D modelling and BIM.
• Proficient in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer.
• Understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection and model standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D & 3D BIM models and technical drawings.
• Use Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer.
• Support BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Carry out model reviews, audits and clash detection.
• Work in line with BIM standards, BEPs and project information requirements.
• Support the management of information within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Assist with resolving technical and coordination issues.
• Ensure project deliverables meet required quality, accuracy and programme standards.

We're currently looking for an experienced BIM Technician to join a project team supporting the delivery and coordination of detailed design and construction information.

The role will involve developing and managing 2D and 3D BIM models, producing high-quality construction drawings, and ensuring models and documentation are accurate, coordinated and compliant with project requirements.
