Role summary

The Structural BIM Coordinator is a key role responsible for managing projects in line with Foster + Partners' Design Systems Strategy.

Responsible for delivering efficient and well-structured coordinated models, data, reports, documentation, and drawings that comply with Foster + Partners' Standards to facilitate the production of consistent, high-quality deliverables in Revit, associated technologies, and workflows.

Responsibilities

1. Understand the design project
2. Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, and other documents related to structural design
3. Assist in the coordination of the internal structural team
4. Take responsibility for specific areas of the structural BIM design and project development as assigned by the project leader
5. Liaise with external design team members and other organizations as appropriate
6. Manage Revit project production and content
7. Ensure application of Foster + Partners procedures, standards, and workflows, and communicate them to project teams
8. Maintain thorough knowledge and compliance with Foster + Partners' procedures and standards
9. Mentor team members on core design systems and best practices

Qualities & Skills required

1. Ability to undertake the responsibilities listed above
2. Legally able to work in the country where the position is based
3. Ability to understand and present design decisions effectively
4. Flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and committed to lifelong learning
5. Minimum of 2 years' experience working on medium to large-scale projects in Autodesk Revit and related technologies
