Job summary

Sapien are hiring a Structural Analyst for a client-based role in Dorking with a requirement to visit a South Coast client site for 6 months. The successful candidate will have 2–3+ years of industry experience and work on confidential engineering programmes.

You will perform FEA, simulations, and produce technical reports while collaborating across engineering teams. The role begins with onboarding in the Dorking office, followed by site work, and returns to base as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Siemens Simcenter and FEA techniques.
• Strong practical experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Current Security Clearance (SC) or ability to obtain clearance.

Job description

Sapien are looking for a Structural Analyst for our client based in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with more than 2–3 years' industry experience to work on a confidential, high-profile engineering programme.

This role will be based in Dorking full time however you will be required to go to their client site on the South Coast for 6 months.

Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding and practical experience of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace or a related Engineering discipline.

The successful candidate will complete an initial onboarding period of approximately one month at the office in Dorking.

Working Arrangements

• Following onboarding, the role will be based at a client's site on the South Coast for the short to medium term.
• Longer term, the role will transition back to the Dorking base.
• Accommodation will be provided by while working at the client site.
• A daily subsistence allowance of £35 will be paid whilst working away from home.
