  • Conducting structural analysis of car and test rig components using finite element and hand calculations.
  • Collaborating with other engineering departments to meet performance and reliability goals.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation, including reports on FE results and calculations.
  • Supporting components throughout their lifecycle, from design to testing and in-service use.
  • Assisting the race team during race weekends and track-test events.
What we’re looking for:
  • An engineering degree (minimum 2:1) with experience in high-performance engineering.
  • Knowledge of Motorsport Engineering is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of finite element and hand calculation methods.
  • Experience with fatigue, non-linear material behavior, and contact analysis is preferred.
  • Proficiency in FEA tools such as Hyperworks and Abaqus; FE-Safe is a plus.
  • Knowledge of composite materials and FE modeling software like Laminate Tools.
  • Experience with optimization tools such as Tosca and Optiassist is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a diverse, no-blame environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across teams.
  • Experience with 3DX design and proficiency in Excel are beneficial.
Benefits:
