Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Stroke Therapy Service in Burnley. The role combines clinical and administrative duties, assisting in therapy sessions, equipment handling, and data entry to support daily operations across the therapy team.

You will work predominantly at Burnley General Hospital and may support Royal Blackburn Hospital and Pendle Community Hospital as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE English/Maths at grade 4 or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake the Care Certificate.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and delivery of therapy sessions.
• Support stock management and equipment maintenance.
• Provide administrative support including data input and patient records.
• Assist in the setup of clinics and patient groups.
• Maintain infection control and tidiness of service areas.
