Stroke Association seeks a Stroke Survivor Involvement Lead in Wales. The role is home-based with frequent travel across the locality to engage stroke survivors, carers and other stakeholders. 35 hours/week, 18-month fixed-term contract, with a salary circa £41,300 per annum.
The post will work with NHS Wales and Welsh Government to set strategic direction, embedding lived experience into all future work and service improvements in stroke care.

We re looking for a motivated and passionate person to join the Wales Locality Team.
The involvement Lead is a new role for the Stroke Association in Wales.
Working in partnership with colleagues at NHS Wales and Welsh Government, this role will set a strategic direction to involve and work closely with people affected by stroke; including stroke survivors, their carers, professionals and other stakeholders.
This role will embed a culture of involvement, ensuring the patient and carer lived experience is incorporated into all future work and used to facilitate service improvement.
To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families. We provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year. This support includes one-to-one and group support, funding vital scientific research into stroke prevention, acute treatment, recovery and long-term care, and campaigning to secure the best care for everyone affected by stroke.
We re here for stroke survivors and their loved ones, from the moment they enter the new and frightening post-stroke world, supporting them every step of the way as they find their strength and their way back to life.
