This Staff Nurse post sits on the stroke and general rehabilitation unit at Evesham Community Hospital, a 50-bed unit run by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. The role covers daily planning and evaluation of rehabilitation nursing care, supporting patients and families from admission to discharge.

It is a full-time post with ward management duties, medicines administration and student teaching, working closely with therapists.

Qualifications

• RGN or RMN with NMC registration is essential.
• Inpatient experience is desirable and pre-registration training is relevant.
• Mentor and teach student nurses and other staff as part of duties.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-focused nursing care on the ward.
• Support patients and families from admission through to discharge.
• Administer medications and manage day-to-day ward operations.
• Work with the MDT to deliver 24/7 rehabilitation and effective handover.
• Document care and maintain accurate records under Trust policy.
