Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Physiotherapist to join the North Mersey Stroke Therapy Team. The role involves nine month rotations across Hyperacute, Acute and Rehab Stroke units at Aintree and Broadgreen, with involvement in the Early Supported Discharge team.

You will work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, deputise for team leads, and contribute to service development and staff education.

Qualifications

• Specialist clinical assessment and treatment skills for stroke and neurological presentations.
• Ability to lead and support staff and student development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Hyperacute/Acute/Rehab Stroke units across Aintree, Broadgreen and Early Supported Discharge teams.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and deputise for team leads when required.
• Contribute to service development and participate in staff education, supervision and audits.
