Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 3 Therapies Assistant to join the Stroke and Neurology service at Hull Royal Infirmary. The role involves assisting in therapy delivery under qualified colleagues and supporting a multi-disciplinary team.

We expect an NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent and healthcare experience; the post requires flexibility, weekend work on a 1 in 5 rota, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in healthcare settings is essential.
• Some therapeutic experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy treatment under the direction of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
• Provide support to patients and assist with delegated duties.
• Undertake clerical and administrative duties related to patient care.
