An NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a dedicated professional to lead and develop the Stroke Service. The role involves contributing to data quality management, supporting both patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring effective communication within the multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in patient care. This position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment in Epsom.
As a member of the Stroke team, the post holder will take a key role in leading and developing the Stroke SSNAP requirements across the Stroke Service at Epsom and St Helier Hospital.
The post holder will contribute to data quality for stroke patients within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality administration within the Trust’s Stroke services. They will record and monitor stroke patient outcomes in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will provide advice and support to patients, their carers, and other healthcare professionals. They will work within established care protocols and contribute to the smooth operation of the service in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The post-holder will lead the collection and analysis of mandatory national Stroke data, facilitate service improvements, and develop information systems aligned with Trust strategy. They will support timely and accurate data collection for internal and external reporting.
The post holder will maintain effective working relationships within the wider Stroke team, enabling joint initiatives across both sites.
