This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual to join The Stroke Directorate Management Team, based at The Grange University Hospital and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (YYF). The primary role involves managing data for the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP), facilitating multidisciplinary team working, and acting as a link between management, clinical nurse specialists, therapists, and consultants. The role also includes processing TIA referrals efficiently and in line with guidelines.
The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) aims to improve stroke care quality by measuring care against evidence-based standards, informed by the National Clinical Guideline for Stroke, and benchmarks. It assesses the quality of care from admission to 6 months post-admission across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, providing data to inform quality improvements.
